What is No Hard Feelings?
No Hard Feelings is a free 10-week online course for young adults aged 18–25 who are struggling with emotions like anxiety, low mood, anger, guilt, or stress.
It’s the first step offered by the Wellbeing Service and includes:
🧑🤝🧑 8 weekly group sessions (2 hours, online)
📞 2 short one-to-one phone check-ins (15 minutes each)
You don’t need a diagnosis to take part—this CBT-based course is helpful for all kinds of mental health challenges that often overlap, like anxiety, panic, OCD, low mood, social anxiety, binge eating, and more.
What will I learn?
Over the 10 weeks, you’ll:
🎯 Set personal goals and explore what motivates you
💭 Learn how to recognise and understand your emotions
🧠 Practise ways to manage difficult thoughts, feelings, and behaviours
🛠️ Use simple tools and skills that you can keep using after the course
What if I don't like speaking in groups?
We use Slido—an anonymous online tool, so you can join in without having to speak. It helps keep things interactive and makes sure everyone has a voice.
Everything shared in the group is confidential. You won’t have to talk about anything personal unless you want to, but many people say being part of a group made them feel less alone.
As this is a new group designed specifically for 18–25 year olds, we’ll be asking a few short questions at the end of each session. Your responses will be anonymous and will help us continually review and improve the group.
